SIS opened its current campus in 1995, as a purpose built school located in a new housing and recreation development on the western side of Surabaya, about 15 kilometers (or a 30 minute drive) from the central business district.

The attractive and pleasant buildings have 48 classrooms with semi-private teacher's offices and storage facilities. Among the classrooms there are computer labs, 3 science labs, demonstration rooms, "Little Theater," and a photography lab.

There is a spacious and well supplied library that is located as an integral part of the academic program, and which is fully automated using the Destiny Library System. The school has approximately 450 laptops and desktop computers available for student and faculty use, located in the library, computer labs, classrooms and distributed to students as part of the school's 1:1 laptop program.

SIS is one of Indonesia's first wireless, laptop schools. As part of this program, all areas of the campus are covered with a wireless network signal using multiple layers of security encryption.

Other facilities include a big first class gymnasium with a climbing wall and stage, a fitness center, a 50-meter Olympic size swimming pool, a full size track, soccer field, elementary playgrounds, a spacious and well stocked library, teacher's lounge, work rooms and a Food Court. The building's capacity is approximately 650 students, which means there is amble space available for special uses and future growth in enrollment.
