Mr. Harold Brown
Mr. Harold Brown (Secondary Art)

Mr. Brown was born in Long Branch, New Jersey and graduated from Long Branch High School in 1966. Harold attended the Central Connecticut State College/University where he received All American honors in football. Mr. Brown graduated with a BA in Fine Art in 1975. After graduation, Harold worked as a visual art teacher at the Westledge School in West Simsbury Connecticut from 1975 thru 1976.

Upon returning to New Jersey, Mr. Brown took on a career as a free-lance, visual artist while taking an occasional job as substitute teacher at various schools throughout the state. In 1978 he began a lucrative career as a free-lance photographer. Harold moved to the Ivory Coast in West Africa in 1990 and renewed his teaching career at the International Community School of Abidjan serving as a teacher of visual art. Mr. Brown furthered his education studying abroad in Cyprus receiving a MA in International Education in 1995 from the College of New Jersey.

In the year 2000, Mr. Brown taught at the American School of Kuwait serving as a middle school teacher of visual arts. After three years in Kuwait, Harold moved on to the Surabaya International School located in Surabaya, Indonesia where he is presently employed as an art teacher for grades six through twelve.
