The Mathematics Department firmly believes that it currently offers a program which implements a variety of learning experiences which actively engage our students. The department also understands that the development of such a program is an on-going process. We believe that we are currently creating a working model of the networked classroom.
 | The Mathematics Department is confident that as both teachers and students develop within the framework of this model, that we shall realize higher standards throughout grade levels. The Math Department provides a challenging curriculum, with particular emphasis on the daily use of technology as a means to encourage the discovery of mathematical relations. The department firmly believes that Mathematics is a social discipline, which requires an environment conducive to communicating and working with one's peers. To this end, both High School and Middle School classes are run with students working at tables in cooperative groups. |
